We all deserve a little TLC.
Cultivate healthier relationships—starting with yourself.
Cultivate healthier relationships—starting with yourself.
It’s hard to change—especially when you don’t have support.
You might be struggling with difficult thoughts like, “what if my family never accepts my life choices—will they ever accept me?”
Perhaps you’re battling indecisiveness and fear about whether you’re “good enough” to succeed, which prevents you from reaching your aspirations and goals.
Or maybe you feel confident and successful at times, but at other moments as if your shield for taking on the world is paper-thin?
Choosing a therapist is a big decision, and it isn’t something to take lightly. I understand that. For me, supporting someone in this way is a rewarding challenge and an honor.
When we work together, I hope you feel seen, understood, and supported. I blend compassion with a healthy sense of humor and perspective.
By taking note of what you share, and paying attention to the things you might not articulate, I’ll help you connect the dots and apply techniques and practices that fit your unique needs.
Therapy should be a safe, supportive space. When we work together you’ll be in good hands, with someone who is insightful, knowledgeable, approachable, and well-versed in effective techniques and tools to assist you. I utilize evidence-based practices and in general approach the work of therapy from a humanistic, integrative, and multi-modal framework that incorporates psychodynamic, relational, and cognitive behavioral interventions. For specific symptom relief, I have specialized training in structured interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), and Mindfulness practices. I value a highly client-centered philosophy and approach; in a session, you are welcomed and encouraged to feel however you feel and express yourself however you wish to express yourself.
It’s important to my clinical work to stay up to date with current research to ensure the best possible treatment and care for my clients. I am actively engaged in my professional organizations and integrate the latest peer-reviewed clinical research findings into my therapeutic interventions.
I bring a sense of curiosity to therapy sessions. I like to think of our work together as the opening of a door or window onto something you may not have been aware of. When you care for the nooks and crannies of your psyche, you start to illuminate foggy and sometimes neglected spaces within yourself—and that’s when real growth happens.
Ultimately, I want to help you make different choices that change your life for the better.

• Build your internal strength and fortitude

Each client I work with is different, so I can’t say that therapy will help you achieve a particular outcome. But I can share with you how some of my clients have grown, changed, and expanded after starting therapy.
Many of my clients report feeling a deepening of their relationships and connections with others, more focused time to devote to personal success, and the ability to thrive with the freedom to embrace the foggier, hidden parts of themselves that once held them back.
Therapy often helps my clients build a strong foundation from which it’s safe to explore, take risks, and pursue creative, passionate, and purposeful work.
Thank you for considering me as your therapist. If you’re ready to start a conversation about how we can work together, I’d love to hear from you.
